Gondwana National Choirs

Gondwana Chorale, our national youth choir, is an SATB choir for singers aged 17 - 25. Steadily building a reputation as one of Australia's finest young choirs, Chorale opened the Four Winds Festival in Bermagui NSW in 2012 and has performed widely in Australia and New Zealand. In 2013 Gondwana Chorale will be conducted by Principal Guest Conductor Paul Holley and head of Adelaide's Elder Conservatorium Carl Crossin OAM.

 

Gondwana Voices, Australia’s renowned children’s choir, is for treble singers aged 10 - 16. Gondwana Voices performs with Australia’s leading music ensembles (such as the Australian World Orchestra), represents Australia on international tours, performs at events of national significance and records for ABC Classics. In 2013 Gondwana Voices will be conducted by International Guest Conductor, Elise Bradley (Director, Toronto Children's Chorus) and Principal Guest Conductor Mark O'Leary.

 

Gondwana Singers is a young SATB (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) choir for singers aged 14 - 16, including boys with changed/changing voices. Gondwana Singers has quickly established itself as an exciting addition to National Choral School. In 2013 Gondwana Singers will be conducted by Gondwana Choirs' International Ambassador Stephen Leek and Elizabeth Scott (VOX, Sydney Philharmonia’s youth choir) with Assistant Conductor, Sam Pender-Bayne.

 

Junior Gondwana is for young people, aged 10 - 13, who love singing and show strong musical potential. This ensemble is the start of a lifelong musical journey for many young singers. In 2013 the choir will be conducted by Harley Mead and Jenny Moon.
